Service Description:
|
Respite workers provide non-medical care and companionship for older adults and adults with disabilities within their homes * relief for caregivers of the elderly and disabled people aged 19 and over
- provide companionship
- prepare meals
- medication monitoring
- help with activities of daily living
|
|
|
Fees:
|
$50 assessment fee for the program * hourly rates, duties and service schedules are negotiated directly between the worker and the clients * clients pay respite workers directly
|

|
Older adults and adults with disabilities who are at least 19 years of age, who need physical, social, or emotional supports * must reside in Caledon
