Service Description: Provide academic, cultural and social education to help children and youth succeed in school and in life

Programs
  • Arts, Literature and Tutoring (ALT) Club-for children ages 6-14 years * helps children complete their homework, obtain assistance with difficult subjects and build social skills and self confidence * offers individual tutoring in subjects children struggle in school
  • Summer Camp-day camp for children ages 6-16 years from low income families * 8week program * encourages youth to develop their personal skills, build self-confidence through recreational and leisure activities
  • Student and Family Advocates-supports Black students and their families a they navigate the education system * promotes responsive education systems, positive student outcomes and increased student belonging * students ages 6-18 years * provides culturally responsive support * develop and offer wrap-around service to students identified to be at risk of not completing high school and those involved with child welfare and the justice system * provides support to schools

Fees: No fees for most programs * $30 registration fee for Homework Club
