Service Description:

Program for caregivers or friends of people with mental illness and/or substance use challenges
Program:
- identifies and understand own ability to cope and support loved one in their recovery journey
- explores family’s personal beliefs, values, and knowledge about loved one’s illness
- offers short term counselling individually or with loved one
- identifies family strengths, needs, and awareness around caregiver burnout and self-care
- offers support groups and workshops

For family members, caregivers, friends struggling to understand and cope with the complexities of their loved ones mental health illness and/or substance and who reside within the communities of Ontario Health atHome, Central West region
