Service Description: Community agency providing settlement and social services for newcomers to Canada

Mind Your Health Program is a culturally sensitive self-awareness program about Mental Health and Addictions. provide culturally sensitive care to community members and works to overcome systemic barriers and stigma surrounding mental health and addictions. The program is designed to provide one-on-one counseling along with peer support and workshop-based / group session learning

Program offers:
  • Assessment and referral
  • Counselling and case management
  • Peer support groups
  • Mental health workshops
  • Stress and anger management
  • Emotional regulation, understanding anxiety and depression
  • Family care
  • Coping skills for anxiety
  • Psychoeducation of addiction
  • Relapse prevention
