This group session is for Autistic teens ages 15-17 who want to improve their daily living skills and grow their independence while connecting with others. Participants will join in recreational activities geared toward building social skills, such as making conversation, understanding social rules, identifying characteristics of a good friend, working as a team, and learning to be safe while out in the community.

A Kerry’s Place Intake staff will reach out to request updated documentation, as needed. Documentation includes: Kerry’s Place Service Agreement (valid for 1 year), Supported Person Profile (valid for 1 year), Media Release (valid for 1 year), and others as needed
The Kerry’s Place Intake staff will confirm registration for the specified group(s) requested, and ensure that the group(s) align with your child or youth’s strengths and goals.
You will receive a reminder email 48 hours prior to the session from the facilitators that will include further details related to drop-off and pick-up instructions, sign-in/sign-out procedures or virtual link (if applicable).
You will have the opportunity to attend a sample session so your child can meet the staff facilitating the group and familiarize themselves with the space the group will take place in.
