Please Note: Ready 2 Work will be delivered on Tuesdays and Thursdays (i.e., twice per week). There will be no sessions the week of July 13-July 17, 2026, as well as the week of August 10-August 14, 2026.

Our vocational skills curricula help establish and develop participants’ skills related to exploring and attaining volunteer and employment opportunities. Using evidence-based strategies and curricula, the aim of this group is to prepare participants for seeking, applying for and maintaining employment. Topics explored: daily living skills necessary for employment success (establishing reasonable sleep schedule, maintaining a healthy diet, personal care and hygiene strategies), preparing a resume, searching and applying for jobs, interview skills, and appropriate work apparel.
This program is overseen by a Registered Behaviour Analyst and is an eligible expense under Core Clinical Services (CCS) within the Ontario Autism Program (OAP).

- Full Refund (-10% Admin Fee): 30+ calendar days’ notice prior to service date

- No Refund: fewer than 14 calendar days’ notice prior to service start date

Please note: Once a group registration request is received on MyCommunityHub the following steps will occur:
- A Kerry’s Place Intake staff will reach out to request updated documentation, as needed. Documentation includes: Written diagnosis of ASD, Kerry’s Place Service Agreement, Supported Person Profile (valid for 1 year), Media Release, and others as needed.
- You may receive a call from a Coordinator to gather further information prior to confirming your spot in the group.
- Please expect a reminder email 48 hours prior to the group starting from the facilitators that will include further details related to screening instructions, sign-in/sign-out procedures or Microsoft Teams link (if applicable).
