Service Description: Assistance to families in need

Provide the following:
  • food (perishable and non-perishable – fresh/canned/frozen)
  • beverages (milk, juice, ensure, coffee, tea, hot chocolate)
  • personal products (shampoo, soap, razors, toilet paper and more)
  • cleaning products (laundry soap, dish soap, etc.)
  • baby items (formula, diapers, blankets, clothes, strollers and toys
  • miscellaneous items ( books, pictures, household items, linens
  • back to school packages in August and September
  • new toys (Christmas, birthdays and new baby packages
**** NO LONGER ACCEPT ANY USED CLOTHES OR FURNITURE

Volunteers are always welcome



Fees: All services free of charge - monthly visit
Application: Required Paperwork (5 items) Proof of Rent, Address, All income in household, Identification with date of birth for all members of household, Bank statement or bank book showing the 31 days of the previous month of visit i.e. For Jan - we need Dec 1st - Dec 31st inclusive, List from all bank institutions stating which accounts you have - Annually. Note: cannot be registered at another food bank and use the services offered by Ste Louise Outreach Centre
Eligibility / Target Population: Any individual or family in need * Mental health patients * Abused women and children * Families starting over from a shelter * Fire victims * Individuals with emotional and/or physical disabilities * Individuals relying on Welfare (OW-Ontario Works) * Newcomers (Refugees and Landed Immigrants) * Single Mothers and Teen moms * Two Parent families (with little or no income) * Students * Smaller food banks * School breakfast programs * Youth groups
