Service Description:
|
Community Mental Health Counselors (CMHC) in Dual Diagnosis work with individuals who have been diagnosed with a developmental delay and a serious mental illness, are homeless or at risk of being homeless and are willing and ready to work collaboratively with a CMHC
The Dual Diagnosis program offers:
- support
- education
- life-skills training
- strengths-based recovery model
- mental health support
This supportive assistance includes the development of customized learning tools to meet the needs of individual learning styles
