Service Description: Free dental services at Toronto Public Health clinics. Dental services offered to eligible children and youth (0-17 years), adults enrolled in selected Toronto Public Health programs, and seniors (65 years and older)

Offer basic dental services such as:

  • Examinations
  • X-rays
  • Fillings
  • Cleaning
  • Some root canal treatments
  • Extractions
  • Emergency and urgent dental care to treat issues like dental pain or cavities
  • Non-invasive procedures: silver diamine fluoride applications to stop tooth decay progression
  • Full or partial dentures are also covered but clients are asked to pay the full laboratory cost for dentures or denture repair

Toronto Public Health also has a fully-equipped Mobile Dental Clinic that travels to select community agencies across the city. It provides free dental care for eligible clients who have difficulty accessing dental services in the customary manner. For information to access this service call 416-338-7600
