Service Description: The BPSD clinic provides comprehensive geriatric assessments that focus on managing behaviours associated with dementia and/or BPSD

Treats patients age 65 years or older who show signs of:
  • dementia with symptoms such as wandering, aggression, hallucinations, etc.
  • delirium with behavioural symptoms
  • delirium after a hospital stay this may require a medication adjustment or review)

Also supports long-term care residents showing dementia-related behaviours



Fees: Most fees covered by OHIP
Application: Physician referral required
