Service Description: Through the Stay Sharp Program, services provided to reduce harm to people who use drugs

Offer free, confidential counselling, support and referrals to appropriate resources. Additionally, provide unused or new needle exchange (including sharps disposal kiosks), new needles, sterile water, alcohol swabs, filters, cookers, acidifiers, tourniquets, pipes, stems, pipe screens, latex condoms and lubricant at all office locations as well as in the community


Naloxoneis a drug that can reverse the effects of opioids and can help to prevent overdose. Recently, the Ministry of Health and Long-Term Care has made naloxone available over-the-counter for free at pharmacies when clients present their health card
