Service Description:
|
Services to children and youth under 18 years of age at the time of referral:
- who are residents of the Region of Peel or attend court in the Region of Peel, and
- who are victims and/or witnesses of crime (sexual abuse/assault, robbery, child luring, Internet Child Exploitation (ICE), child pornography, uttering threat or criminal harassment) and who may be called to testify in criminal court
- intimate partner violence cases where the victim is 15 or under, and where the accused has been charged with sexual interference or sexual exploitation
Exclusionary criteria:
- children and youth who are 18 and over
- children and youth who are victims/in gang related crimes, domestic violence, child abuse and domestic violence, or those referred by the Homicide or Vice Units

Call intake or fax in referral * Youth and caregivers can self-refer, or physicians and community professionals can submit a referral using a form available on the WhereToStart.ca website
