Psychosis - Dufferin

People with psychosis may experience personality changes, hallucinations, false beliefs, or impaired insight. This condition can be caused by disease, injury, substance use, or mental illness.

Early intervention programs treat and support people experiencing their first episode of psychosis. People can get help to manage their symptoms through specialized clinics, hospital-run programs, supportive services, and support groups.
